Job Description

The ECF Recapitalization (ER) department was formed to recapitalize the capabilities of the Expended Core Facility (ECF) which is approaching the end of its life. This is a large and complex multi-billion dollar project, which is an essential part of NNL's continued support of the Navy. This project is managed by an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) firm.

In order to monitor project progress, NNL has responsibility to perform oversight and monitor each contract within the project. The Facilities Contracts and Project Management (FCPM) unit is responsible for leading the various oversight functions and for ensuring that NNL project oversight is effectively coordinated and feedback provided to the EPCM in a unified manner. Additionally, FCPM is the primary interface between the Project Teams and Naval Reactors.
