Idaho Power – located in vibrant Boise, Idaho – is looking for three Security Specialists to join our Physical Security team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. What does a Security Specialist do for us?

With general oversight, the Security Specialist is responsible for: delivering and promoting positive security interactions and customer service to employees, vendors, contractors and the public at Idaho Power facilities; monitoring the duties of contracted guard service personnel; scheduling and conducting training programs to facilitate functional understanding of Physical Security’s operations and processes; contributing and updating Physical Security guard operations best practices; executing and overseeing the visitor management program; responding to intrusion detection incidents; participating in reviews and updates of Physical Security standards and programs; and assisting with security incident response and reporting.

A COMPETITIVE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

Knowledge of:

• Working knowledge of corporate security operations
• Asset protection as demonstrated by ASIS International (ASIS)
• Incident response best practices
• Video management systems
• Access control

• Key control
• Knowledge of law enforcement agencies in the IPC service area
• Microsoft Office software, and PC applications.

Farnsworth Group is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Designer with 5 years of experience in the Architecture/Engineering (A/E) industry, including hands-on exposure to semiconductor facilities and Tool Install projects. In this role you will be involved in developing structural design documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the installation of highly specialized equipment within complex industrial environments.

Posting Locations: Boise, ID or Phoenix, AZ

What You’ll Do

• Develop structural design drawings, models, and construction documents using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Perform structural layout and detailing for semiconductor fabrication facilities, including support systems for Tool Install.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, process, and architectural teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Assist in the design of equipment support structures, platforms, anchorage systems, and seismic bracing for semiconductor tools.
• Review vendor drawings and equipment loads to ensure proper structural integration.
• Conduct field investigations and support construction activities, including site visits and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable client BIM specifications, standard installation details, and industry drafting/modeling standards.
