Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: [Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.] Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

For This Position Role and Position Objectives: As a hardware engineer for our Idaho Scientific group, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and deploying secure system solutions through novel CPU design, crypto cores, purpose-built system-on-a-chip architectures, and hardened operating systems. Our solutions are the foundation for how military systems will remain safe and secure in the conflicts of the future. Duties and Tasks:

  • Responsible for definition, design, verification and documentation for ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) and/or FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) developments
  • Determines architecture, system simulation and detailed design approach
  • Defines module interfaces and all aspects of device design and simulation
