Summary This position exists for Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Trainees to gain essential skills through on the job training and hands-on experience in electrical and process control instrumentation in the plant preparing for a career as a certified E&I Technician.
This includes maintenance, sanitation, troubleshooting, calibration and repair of all electronic equipment and instrumentation on site. The individual in this position will be required to hold a 2 year degree in Instrumentation Controls and Electrical Technology or be currently enrolled in an accredited Instrumentation Controls and Electrical Technology program.
Key Responsibilities
- Installs, operates, and maintains to a high level of reliability central process control equipment and instrumentation including, but not limited to computers, programmable controllers, motor controllers and wiring.
- Ensures instrumentation is tuned and calibrated and performs routine preventive/predictive maintenance on all instrumentation.
