Summary This role directs and coordinates the instrumentation, electronics, computer and electrical needs of the total operation to ensure maximum operating efficiency in a safe, cost effective and timely manner.

This role is accountable for the maintaining, upgrading, continued operation of the electrical, instrumentation and control, the computer systems of the facility and in keeping up to date with the latest technology in the field of electronics. This role trains and manages the electrical and process control staff in a participative management style to ensure the quality, quantity of work performance and development of subordinates meets the necessary requirements to meet operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains a positive professional relationship with all contractors and equipment manufacturers. Ensures that the Plant Policies, Procedures and Union contracts are administered and followed in a fair and consistent manner.
