The Role Fiber Tech II - Splicing Technicians install, splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cable in support of construction, operations, maintenance, and emergency restoration across our fiber networks.

Main Responsibilities
- Install, splice (single-fiber, multi-fiber, and ribbon), and test fiber optic cable for construction projects, which may include maintenance, and emergency restoration
- Troubleshoot and isolate fiber faults using tools such as OTDR, optical power meter, fiber identifier, scope, and fault finder; save and send test files and documentation
