Job Summary

The Manufacturing Supervisor works a four-day schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts each week . This position leads daily production activities and frontline manufacturing personnel to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and labor-utilization objectives. The Manufacturing Supervisor manages production priorities, employee performance, timekeeping, QMS training administration, and workforce capability while supporting the Manufacturing Manager with performance updates, risk identification, and recovery planning.

Essential Functions

Production Management Own daily production results by monitoring shop-order priorities, staffing, capacity, materials, equipment availability, and employee qualifications. Adjust labor assignments and production priorities within established authority to meet operating requirements. Review results and address performance gaps with Leads.

Develop recovery actions and provide the Manufacturing Manager with routine updates on performance, risks, and recovery plans. Escalate significant or unresolved issues promptly. Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
