• Guide the development, implementation, and improvement of quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Provide senior-level QA expertise and technical leadership for complex quality activities.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and work documents for compliance with quality requirements.
• Support vendor activities through quality planning, inspection, surveillance, and documentation.
• Perform and support inspections, audits, and surveillance, with emphasis on welding and mechanical work.
• Provide QA support for vendors and third-party suppliers, including documentation, specifications, inspections, and compliance.
• Identify quality issues, corrective actions, process improvements, and risk-reduction opportunities.
• Develop and maintain required quality documentation and records.
• Work independently and exercise sound judgment in resolving complex quality issues.
