A Federal Traveling Carpenter performs skilled carpentry work in constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures furniture and fixtures; works with a variety of materials mentors less experienced carpenters and ensures compliance with safety standards. This role also includes door installation; drywall hanging and finishing; metal and wood stud framing; suspended T-grid ceiling installation; and trim/finish carpentry, along with related work such as rough framing, blocking and backing, cabinetry and casework installation, and general finish and punch-list carpentry. This is a traveling position supporting Federal project sites both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS), with travel required nationwide and abroad.
