• Lakeland Joint School District is seeking applications for a Crossing Guard at Lakeland Middle School for the 20262027 school year.

• Schedule:
• 2 hours per day
• 7:008:00 a.m.
• 1:452:45 p.m.
• MondayFriday during the school year
• Pay Range:
• $15.10$17.12 per hour, DOE

• Maintain continuous visual and/or auditory awareness of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
• Identify approaching vehicles and changing traffic conditions.
• Promptly communicate directions, warnings, and instructions to students and drivers.
• Stop or redirect pedestrian traffic when necessary to prevent unsafe crossing.
• Respond immediately to unexpected traffic, pedestrian, or emergency situations.
• Remain attentive and positioned at the assigned crossing for the duration of the shift.

• High school diploma or GED required

• Successful completion of an extensive background check (references, recommendations, and criminal history)
