ESI's Mechanical Estimator has the responsibility to assist in coordinating, preparing, and presenting estimates for specific project proposal activities. This includes the ability to adapt to new innovations and apply skills to help create cost summaries, quantity takeoffs, and an understanding of project requirements. This position requires the applicant to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction industry.

Looking for a Mechanical or Wastewater Estimator with strong experience and working knowledge of process piping systems, with the ability to support multiple project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Aiding to produce an accurate estimate that includes subcontractor solicitation, quantity takeoffs, pricing analysis, proposal comparisons, and estimate summary sheets.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret Contract Documents (RFP, specification, etc.)
  • Completing full quantity take-off and data entry of labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Conduct initial analysis of drawings and specifications to aid in establishing project requirements.
