Farm Ops Technician (8hr Days) $20.40

Job Purpose The primary responsibility is to assist and support the Farm Manager in activities involving sample collection, record keeping, irrigating crops, spraying weeds and other farm work.

• Performs basic pivot maintenance.
• Changes the location where wastewater is being applied and irrigates crops as needed.
• Assists in permit sampling requirements as needed.
• Responds to odor complaints as required in the permit.
• Mow/spray weeds around Idahoan farm operations and perform snow removal and ice mitigation for Idahoan facility parking lots.
• Operates harvesting equipment as needed and hauls equipment to the different plants.
• Must maintain complete and accurate records including the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binder.
• Must know how to operate, clean, maintain and trouble shoot the wastewater treatment plant.
• Must comply with all safety regulations, attend safety meetings and follow all company safety rules.
• Follows all good manufacturing practices as set up by the company policy. Qualifications/Required Skills
• Education and/or Experience: This position requires a high school diploma or a GED.
• Language Skills: Must have effective oral and written communication skills to communicate with supervisor and co-workers
• Requires a valid, current drivers' license with a driving record which enables insurability. Other Details
