Position Summary

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all mill equipment. This position will troubleshoot electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. PAY RATE: $50/hour

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs.
  • Follow safety protocols and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Install, repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment with a primary focus on safe and continuous operation of all equipment and facilities.
  • Utilize CMMS to document all work orders and equipment maintenance throughout the facility.
  • Assist in maintaining the inventory of critical electrical spare parts.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) problem-solving efforts to eliminate repeat equipment failures.
  • Assist in evaluating and measuring vendor performance.
  • Collaborate with millwrights in making mechanical repairs as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician License.
  • 1+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting and commissioning industrial electrical devices, including the following:
