Infrastructure Operator II

This position is an intermediate-level position in the Infrastructure Operator series. The primary function of an employee in this class is to perform moderately complex tasks in the construction of distribution mains, hydrants, valves, pumps, and motors, and the maintenance and repair of the city’s water distribution infrastructure. The work is performed under general supervision of the infrastructure supervisor with latitude for independent judgment and initiative.

The principal duties of this class are performed in an outdoor environment, which may involve adverse weather conditions, roadway traffic, related hazards, and confined spaces.
