Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is accountable to assist in the development and administration of Food Safety and Quality, and laboratory programs that result in compliance with BAF policies and procedures, FDA, GMP's Essential Job Duties/Key Accountabilities
- Audit and ensure compliance with customer requirements, FDA regulations and GMPs, HACCP, as well as all BAF product safety and sanitation policies, procedures and guidelines. Participate in investigation and resolution of customer complaints, foreign material sightings, and reject product episodes. Ensure maintenance of appropriate ingredient, supplies and product records. Resolve direct material quality issues and warehouse receiving problems.
- Lead by example in coaching, developing, and training plant employees on quality and food safety tasks. Conduct timely performance appraisals for direct reports, providing effective feedback. Offer expertise and resources for product analysis, safety, and sanitation training. Ensure accurate and efficient analysis and reporting of ingredients and products.
