DC Engineering is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer (4+ years of experience) to join our growing Structural Engineering team. A P.E. or S.E. license is preferred but not required. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering firm serving primarily commercial clients.

Projects primarily include wood-framed buildings, with additional exposure to concrete, steel, masonry, and light-gauge steel structures. This is an in-office position, providing close collaboration with internal team members and direct interaction with project stakeholders. In this role, you will work closely with both internal teams and external clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Job Duties

In this position, you will:

  • Lead small project teams (EITs and Revit designers) in the development of structural construction drawings and calculation packages for commercial buildings and structures.
  • Interact directly with architects, owners, contractors, plan reviewers, and other engineering disciplines to develop effective project solutions.
  • Train and mentor junior staff. You will provide structural engineering services across all phases of commercial projects, including design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
