Summary This role provides technical support for company logistics systems and industry systems.

Resonsible for the collection, review and analysis of transportation data and carrier proposals. Conducts cost studies to suport and validate carrier negotations around rates and provides cost/benefit analysis. Reports monthly operational and financial metrics.

Provides training and peer leadership to transportation team. Ensures optimal use of company assets (owned or leased). Informs internal and external customers of status by written reports and oral communication.

Analyzes daily information for service trends and develops proactive resolutions with carriers, plant yards and internal customers. Responsible for hazardous fleet deployment, maintenance and compliance testing. Available for on call duty as required.
