Chick-fil-A Expands to New Location in Moscow!

Chick-fil-A lovers in Moscow have fantastic news! The beloved fast-food chain is officially moving to a new full-service location at the Palouse Place. A New Home for Chick-fil-A The new Chick-fil-A will take over the space previously occupied by Sangria Grille, which closed its doors in April 2021.

The old structure will be demolished to make way for this updated facility, with construction anticipated to commence this spring as the City of Moscow is finalizing the project approvals. Chick-fil-A Remains on Campus Although the new location will be a significant expansion, it’s essential to note that the Chick-fil-A within the Idaho Student Union Building will continue to operate. This brings the total number of Chick-fil-A locations in Moscow to two, ensuring that students and residents have plenty of options to satisfy their cravings.

Corporate Decisions and Expansion It's important to understand that corporate decisions about opening new Chick-fil-A locations are made by the company's real estate team, not individual franchise owners. Chick-fil-A has a strategic approach to expansion, selecting locations based on targeted market goals and various business considerations. In their own words, “Chick-fil-A opens a limited number of restaurants each year,” taking into account customer suggestions but ultimately prioritizing corporate objectives.
