JTS, a Mission Critical Group (MCG) company, has officially opened its state-of-the-art 172,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Nampa, Idaho, marking a major expansion in the company’s U.S. production capabilities. The $55 million investment, known as JTS Nampa 1, will create 140 new manufacturing jobs in Idaho and double the company’s capacity to meet growing demand for critical power infrastructure.
The new facility underscores MCG’s commitment to domestic manufacturing, bringing its total U.S. footprint to over 1 million square feet. Located on 14 acres near JTS’s existing Caldwell plant, the Nampa facility leverages LEAN manufacturing principles and shared resources to maximize efficiency.
“This expansion is a game-changer for JTS and our customers,” said Greg Blake, President of JTS. “By doubling our production capacity, we can deliver innovative power solutions faster and more reliably, ensuring critical infrastructure, from hospitals to data centers, remains operational.”
With U.S. electricity demand projected to surge by more than 50% by 2050, JTS Nampa 1 positions MCG to address the nation’s need for resilient power systems. The facility specializes in fully integrated generator enclosures and modular power solutions, using AI-driven automation to enhance productivity and environmental sustainability.
“This facility supports the future of American manufacturing,” said Jeff Drees, CEO of Mission Critical Group. “By combining advanced technology with employee ownership, we’re not only meeting industry demands but also empowering the people who drive our success.”

Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling praised the project, highlighting its economic impact. “JTS’s investment brings high-quality jobs to our community and reinforces Nampa’s role as a hub for innovation and growth,” she said.
The facility employs AI-powered systems for tasks such as painting generators, managing materials, and monitoring air quality, ensuring efficient and environmentally responsible operations. Drees noted that production is already underway, with multiple units in the pipeline to serve clients nationwide.
“Whether our customers are in New York or Los Angeles, this facility allows us to deliver reliable power solutions at scale,” Drees added.
With this expansion, JTS now operates three strategic locations, Caldwell and Nampa, Idaho, and Abilene, Texas, strengthening its ability to support critical infrastructure across the country.
