A Production Lead oversees the production process for specific product
lines. They ensure that the product is produced in accordance with all
specifications, quality requirements, and in a timely manner to meet
delivery schedules.
**Responsibilities:**
- Organize workers to meet delivery schedule
- Instruct and enforce that work procedures are followed
- Ensure product specifications are met
- Meet quality assurance standards and requirements
- Instruct how to use tools and equipment
- Identify ways to improve quality or speed of production
- Identify ways to reduce costs to build product
- Ensure that higher quantities produced do not compromise quality
- Instruct on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Monitor safety activities of workers
- Report safety incidents
- Encourage team effort and supportive attitudes between workers
