We’re seeking a Project Engineer II or III – Automation to support the design, implementation, and commissioning of automation and control systems for electric power system applications. This role works closely with customers and internal teams to deliver projects focused on power system automation, integration, communications, and industrial controls.
What You’ll Do
- Apply technical knowledge of electric power systems, automation, and related SEL products to complete complex engineering assignments.
- Lead customer training and assist with the design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and protection systems.
- Lead project execution activities, ensuring work is completed within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Support the development and presentation of proposals for SEL equipment, services, and system solutions.
- Mentor and develop less experienced engineering staff and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Model and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by helping teams understand, create, and simplify.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
