Summary
The Wastewater Supervisor will plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the procedures of Wastewater Treatment Plant ensuring compliance with all federal and state environmental requirements. The role evaluates and authorizes operational control changes with considerable independence. Work is performed under general oversight but requires independent judgment, insightful thinking, and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and overall compliance with state and federal environmental regulations and discharge monitoring permit criteria including NPDES compliance, Reclaimed Water Permit compliance, Air Permit Compliance, and Biosolids Management compliance;
- Coordinate and lead the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant per established parameters and applicable regulations
- Lead trouble shooting efforts and support the planning of system maintenance to prevent failures and ensure uninterrupted operations
- Set schedules and monitor performance of operators
- Assist with training all levels of employees to adhere to safety and compliance standards, as well as complete basic operation and maintenance
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Valid Idaho Wastewater Certification Grade 2 desired Grade 3 Preferred.<
